The short dark days of winter in New England are ordinarily the best reading days for me. I start before dawn and then try to begin again at dusk. The darkness slows me down, which reading in-depth demands, and is a rarity when so much demands my attention.
Extra reading time is definitely a perk of winter! I’m enjoying that too.
